Sankt Gertrud Pilgrimage Trail
Pilgrim Walk on Djursland
Along the Sankt Gertrud Pilgrimage Trail on Djursland, you’ll find three unique audio walks. Each one is rooted in the landscape where it unfolds: I månens bane in the woods near Hemmed Church, Den evige sol among the burial mounds at Thorsø Høje, and Den hvide kyst along the shoreline by Fornæs Lighthouse.
The voices guiding you belong to Thure Lindhardt, Sonja Richter, and Esben Smed. These walks aim to deepen the connection between people, nature, and cultural history. But is that really possible? Through knowledge? Through the senses? And by doing so—can we also come closer to ourselves?
We walk with the voices, let the sound guide us, feel our steps on the ground, let our thoughts wander, and open ourselves to new sides of nature, cultural heritage, and our own inner worlds.
Whether you’re on a pilgrimage walking the full Sankt Gertrud Trail, or simply out to experience one of the three audio walks, they are ready for you. Because what can these places reveal about the paths we take in life?
