Oplevelsescenter Nyvang

At Oplevelsescenter Nyvang, you can experience life and everyday routines in the small cooperative village in the middle of the 20th century. We are a different and lively experience center where you can touch, do, taste, try, smell, and play your way through history.

Throughout the area, you can visit the working workshops. At the smallholding, the stove is lit, and coffee is made with the substitute Richs. If you have a love for engines, “Zonen” and the Cartage Firm are for you. The cooperative dairy often produces goods on weekends. Here, you can see the dairy workers make butter and smoked cheese. You can also taste old-fashioned buttermilk. Additionally, you can visit the Trading Street, say hello to the Rural Policeman, roll a pill at the Pharmacy, or buy delicious goods at the Co-op. In 2023, you can also hunt for treasures in our new Dry Goods Store.

Our many volunteers bring life to the small village and are happy to tell a story or anecdote from the 1940s.

When hunger strikes, you can visit our eatery “Madam Blaa,” where you can buy open-faced sandwiches and other delicious dishes. You can also buy coffee and cake at the Bakery or stop by Nyvang’s Butcher and try our homemade meatballs.

Museum Mystery – a treasure hunt for the whole family

In the Useeum app, you can listen to the audio guide to learn more about the buildings at Oplevelsescenter Nyvang. You can also bring the whole family along on the treasure hunt Museum Mystery, where you together have to prevent the mischievous villain Heidenreich from stealing a very special object from Oplevelsescenter Nyvang.
