Millesgården Museum

Millesgården is one of Sweden’s most unique destinations, featuring an inspiring artist’s home, a spectacular sculpture park, and an art gallery for temporary exhibitions in art and design. Here, art, history, architecture, and nature come together in a setting that attracts and fascinates visitors from all over the world.

Millesgården was created by the world-renowned Swedish sculptor Carl Milles and his wife, the artist Olga Milles, who built their home and studios here in the early 20th century.

At the heart of Millesgården lies the large sculpture park, spread across several terraces with fountains, flower plantings, and sweeping views over the Stockholm archipelago. Here, visitors encounter many of Carl Milles’ well-known sculptures in a dramatic and poetic setting where art and landscape interact.

Artist’s Home, Antique Collection, and Exhibitions

Visitors can also step inside the inspiring home of the artist couple and their studios, filled with sculptures and paintings, as well as a unique collection of antiques. The artist’s home also hosts smaller temporary exhibitions.
