The Farm Karensminde
During school holidays, there are always treasure hunts and games for the youngest family members. The museum’s volunteers organize horse-drawn carriage rides, child-friendly workshops, and bring the old blacksmith’s forge and the traditional kitchen stove to life. Each spring, children help plant potatoes, and each autumn, they assist in harvesting the new potatoes, receiving a bag of potatoes as a thank you for their help. The living museum is nestled in beautiful nature between the meadow and heath, showcasing traces of conditions, development, lifestyle, and consequences from the last 400 years of Danish history.

The ticket portal is new, and we are working on including all Danish museums. Right now, you can purchase tickets for the museums you see here, but we hope that in the future, you’ll be able to buy tickets for even more museums.
