Jyllandsakvariet
Grab the crab before it grabs you! In our touch pools you meet the animals up close, and you can even lend a hand on certain days when we feed the sharks, rays, and flatfish. You can pat a shark on the head, stroke a ray’s back, and witness the development of the catshark from egg to full-grown.
Both children and adults can enjoy themselves, play on the maritime playgrounds, get creative in the beach workshop, and learn more about life beneath the surface. There are plenty of experiences for both young and old!
The aquarium is located in the charming harbor town of Thyborøn, where the North Sea and the Limfjord meet. The unique nature of West Jutland is the place to have fantastic experiences and create memories. Jyllandsakvariet is the largest provider of guided nature experiences on the West Coast and offers everything from amber safaris, seafood safaris, tractor bus tours, seal safaris, and even something as special as dolphin safaris. On board the safari boat, you get up close with the elegant, intelligent animals.

The ticket portal is new, and we are working on including all Danish museums. Right now, you can purchase tickets for the museums you see here, but we hope that in the future, you’ll be able to buy tickets for even more museums.
