Sønderjyllands Stemme: Grænsevogteren

Grænsevogteren is an audio experience set on May 26, 1944, when there’s a knock on Colonel Svend Paludan-Müller’s door in Gråsten. It’s the Gestapo. They demand to speak with the Colonel, but he curtly replies that they can return when the office opens at 10 AM. The Germans refuse to leave. They kick down the door and… BANG! The Colonel shoots one of the intruders, who falls dead in the foyer, after which the rest flee. This marks the beginning of an intense gunfight between Paludan and over 40 German soldiers.

Star-studded audio drama, available for both outdoor and home listening

The original play of the same name was a suspenseful monologue performed by Ole Sørensen on stage. He also plays Colonel Svend Paludan-Müller in this auditory version, joined by Asger Reher, Bodil Jørgensen, and many others.

The audio drama is available in two versions: One to be experienced on-site where the events took place, namely in the area around Gendarmstien in Haderslev, and one that can be listened to from home or wherever you prefer.
