On PEDER SKRAM, you can experience what life was like aboard the Navy’s flagship during the Cold War. You can see how the 200-man crew lived. You can even try operating the cannons, and most handles and buttons in the wheelhouse and engine control room can be touched and turned.
SEHESTED
The torpedo missile boat SEHESTED, like its nine sisters in the Willemoes class, is named after a Danish naval hero. It was built in Denmark in 1977-78. The crew consisted of 25 young men and women who sailed together with very little space. Despite being a relatively small warship, the torpedo missile boat was a very powerful unit. With a top speed of 40 knots (74 km/h) and excellent seaworthiness, the torpedo missile boats posed a significant threat to the enemy.
