The clever and mischievous thief Malatesta is out to steal a priceless artifact from the Roman Forum.
You are the only one who can stop Malatesta from stealing something from the Roman Forum. You must solve his riddles, find clues around the Roman Forum, and ultimately guess what his goal is.
A Treasure Hunt for the Whole Family
MuseumsMysteriet is a series of treasure hunts aimed at children aged 6-12 and their families, which can be experienced at various museums and historical sites via the Useeum app. The villain is always on the lookout for new cultural treasures for his collection.
The game is created by Frederik Hansen and Andreas Nederland, who also write children’s books and produce children’s TV on DR Ramasjang.
How to Play:
- Purchase a ticket for The Roman Forum Mystery on this page.
- Scan the QR code or click the link in the email you receive on your phone.
- Head to the Roman Forum (entrance ticket must be purchased separately).
- Start The Roman Forum Mystery in the Useeum app.

Once you have completed your purchase, you will receive an email (check your spam filter, if necessary). The email will contain both a link and a QR code.
If you are reading the email on your computer, you should scan the QR code with your phone.
If you are reading the email on your phone, you should click on the link.
After this, you will be directed to the Useeum app and gain access to The Roman Forum Mystery.

Here you’ll find a wealth of great stories in the form of guides, podwalks, and treasure hunts for a variety of museums, visitor centers, castles, nature parks, and the like.
The ticket portal is new, and we are working on including all Danish museums. Right now, you can purchase tickets for the museums you see here, but we hope that in the future, you’ll be able to buy tickets for even more museums.
Your tickets have been sent to your email and consist of a QR code. Show this QR code to the staff upon arrival, and they will scan and redeem your tickets.
