Kunsthal for ny og ældre kunst
Gl. Holtegaard
Gl. Holtegaard er en kunsthal, der præsenterer et ambitiøst udstillingsprogram med tre-fire skiftende udstillinger om året af både ny og ældre kunst. Det er Gl. Holtegaards ambition at præsentere ny såvel som ældre billedkunst, der aktualiserer historien og perspektiverer den tid, vi lever i i dag.
Kunsthallens placering i Lauritz de Thurahs historiske barokanlægs bygninger og udendørs arealer udgør en integreret del af kunsthallens udstillingsprofil. Netop placeringen gør, at samtidskunsten kan trækkes meget tæt på det historiske materiale, som Gl. Holtegaard er gjort af. Barokhaven betragtes altså som et udvidet udstillingsrum, der, på lige fod med De Thurahs arkitektur, nøje kurateres og iscenesættes i det årlige udstillingsprogram.
I løbet af året danner Gl. Holtegaard ramme om et mangfoldigt aktivitetsprogram med artist talks, performances, foredrag, debatter, havevandringer, koncerter mm., som knytter sig til udstillingerne samt Gl. Holtegaard som sted og kulturinstitution.
Barokhave
Gl. Holtegaards ca. 30.000 m2 store smukke barokhave og historiske parkanlæg er en oplevelse i sig selv med akseopdelte gangstier, et stort broderiparterre samt mere end 250 frugttræer, hvoraf mange er historiske æblesorter. Barokanlægget blev i starten af 00’erne genskabt med forbillede i Lauritz de Thurahs gamle barokvision for hus og have fra 1756. Haven er åben og gratis at besøge året rundt

The ticket portal is new, and we are working on including all Danish museums. Right now, you can purchase tickets for the museums you see here, but we hope that in the future, you’ll be able to buy tickets for even more museums.
