Andersens København is a dramatized historical audio story that takes you on a tour around the 19th-century Copenhagen, accompanied by the 14-year-old H.C. Andersen.
On the Edge of Life
Andersen has ventured into the big city on his own, chasing his dream of becoming a famous actor. What he doesn’t know is that this journey will push him to the very edge of life.
What happened during those three dark years of the young poet’s life? What inner drive led him to embark on this great journey to the city in the east? And did the city help shape the now world-famous poet?

Useeum’s podwalks are engaging and often dramatized audio stories that bring the area’s history to life.
Once you have completed your purchase, you will receive an email (check your spam filter, if necessary). The email will contain both a link and a QR code.
If you are reading the email on your computer, you should scan the QR code with your phone.
If you are reading the email on your phone, you should click on the link.
After this, you will be directed to the Useeum app and gain access to Andersens København.

Here on the site, you can both find your next museum experience and purchase your tickets. Make your next museum visit exciting with the Useeum app at hand. Here you’ll find a wealth of great stories in the form of guides, podwalks, and treasure hunts for a variety of museums, visitor centers, castles, nature parks, and the like.
The ticket portal is new, and we are working on including all Danish museums. Right now, you can purchase tickets for the museums you see here, but we hope that in the future, you’ll be able to buy tickets for even more museums.
